PLEIN AIR BOOT CAMP --with Stock Schlueter---Learn all the ins and outs of painting the landscape directly from nature in this exciting workshop! Stock is offering two weekends designed to take students from the basics of painting outdoors to finished plein air landscapes.
Plein Air Boot camp
June 3-5
Weekend one focuses on the basics of outdoor painting, including the materials, gear, and logistics necessary to work outside successfully. Stock will give a demonstration and will offer hands-on instruction at Eureka Studio Arts on the first day; on the second day, students will complete a painting en plein air and tour Stock's Old Town studio.
Weekend two is all plein air painting! Students will work at a location chosen by Stock and will receive six hours each day of instruction and painting time. Both days will end with a short critique and discussion of the painting process. Students may take one or both weekends.DATES/TIMES: Weekend 1: April 19 & 20 from 9:00-3:00 / Weekend 2: April 26 & 27 from 9:00-3:00 PRICE: weekend 1 only: $150 / weekend 2 only: $150 / both weekends: $275 / ONE DAY ONLY: $75

Rachel K Schlueter Rachel has designed this workshop with FUN and creativity in mind. Join her for an afternoon of creative experimentation and go home with a finished work of art, suitable for hanging or giving as a gift!

"MAKING COLOR SING” with Joan GoldBoth of Joan's 2018 workshops about working with color and acrylics SOLD OUT! Stay tuned for her next offering. This is an excellent workshop for parents and children to work together on a similar art project in the same classroom. This event is so popular that we will be adding more throughout the year. Cost is 100$ for both parent and child.

Throwing on the wheel
Ever wanted to throw on the wheel? Make mugs? Make Plates, bowls or just make a mess. It's no easy task. Practice makes perfect. We will be holding Saturday classes at the school from 9 am to noon. $50 per class and you get to keep whatever you make.
